Club Rides

The main club rides meet at Pontypool Harvester car park every Sunday at 9.30am. There are normally 3 group rides (depending on numbers) - a ladies/novice group, a medium paced group, and a faster group. The ladies/novice ride typically lasts 2-3 hours and usually includes a café-stop (with cake!). The medium and faster rides usually last 3-6 hours and also include a café-stop or two.

We have a shorter but slightly faster ride every Saturday, without a café-stop. This lasts about 2 hours throughout the Winter and about 3 hours during the Summer months. This meets at the Pontypool Harvester car park at 1.40pm.

On Thursday evenings throughout the summer (April-October) there is a fast paced chaingang ride leaving the Pontypool Harvester car park at 6pm and lasts about 90 minutes.

On Friday evening throughout the year the mountain bike group meet for a ride around the Cwmcarn mountain bike trail. This ride takes about 2 hours and meets at the visitor centre at 6pm. Good lights are essential during the winter months!
